About – Our results

Hands on Learning changes the lives of young people. We have successfully implemented the program in urban, rural and remote locations.
The average attendance for students in years 7-10 for Hands on Learning programs is 98% and 92% of students have moved into apprenticeships or further study. This demonstrates our strong track record keeping disengaged students at school.

Hands On’s impact at Gordonvale High in 2011 is striking. Unexplained absences have droped by more than half, and student detention rates are at a fifth of what they were before HOL.
